My name is Louis but my friends call me Lou. I finished my B.A in Digital Art & Multimedia Design from LaSalle University (2013). From a young age I fell in love with technology and found myself wanting to make a living in the field. I naturally drifted toward Web Design & Development. I find my work to be extremely rewarding and want to work in the field for the rest of my life. In terms of career, I would consider myself both a savvy developer and a creative deisgner. I am outgoing, friendly, collaborative, and ambitious.
Some of the goals I have for 2017 include finishing my masters program and getting my pmp certification.
My current role allows me to update and manage several of the FAA’s websites. HTML, CSS, Coldfusion, FTP, JavaScript, Markdown, Static Site Generation, Bit Bucket, Git, Brackets, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, GUI development, Version Control, PHP, issue tracking and UX design are all skills used on a daily basis.
I am apart of the online program that will teach and help me apply concepts learned within the IT field and its Web Design concentration. I am currently 76% through my program and expect to graduate June 2017. Tools and software used during my program include WireShark, Microsoft Project, Virtual Box, Netbeans IDE for object oriented programming (Basic Java)
